TradeDay Inactivity and Login Clocks + Coupon Code AUDIT
Track TradeDay’s inactivity policy separately from Tradovate archiving and recurring billing, with an absence checklist and AUDIT initial-fee math.

TradeDay’s lack of inactivity fees does not mean an account can be left unattended indefinitely. Its help page describes both Tradovate archiving after more than a calendar month without login and possible TradeDay offboarding after 30 days of dormancy. Keep those clocks separate from the membership-renewal date.
Verified code: AUDIT gives 55% off an eligible initial TradeDay membership base fee. Renewal discount persistence is unconfirmed.

Three dates belong in an absence plan
The inactivity help article says a Tradovate account archived for no login cannot be restored by TradeDay. It also describes a separate 30-day inactive-account policy. The page adds a 30-day documentation deadline after graduation to Funded Live.
A membership payment, a dashboard visit and a platform login are different events. Do not assume one refreshes every clock. The phrase “no minimum trading requirements” on the inactivity page should not be used to erase a plan's evaluation objectives or funded payout conditions.
| Date to record | Evidence | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Last successful Tradovate login | Platform account and timestamp | Addresses the platform-access clock |
| Last substantive account activity | Trading statement and dashboard status | Helps resolve the firm's dormancy assessment |
| Next membership renewal | Billing record | Shows the next possible payment |
| Live graduation, if applicable | Graduation notice | Starts the separate documentation deadline |
The official page does not define every activity that resets dormancy. Ask TradeDay to confirm the relevant status rather than assuming a website login is enough. Never place an unnecessary trade solely because a calendar reminder appeared.
Calendar month and 30 days are different descriptions
Consider a trader taking several weeks away. A “same date next month” reminder can differ from a 30-day reminder, and a planned return date can slip. Record the exact wording used by each service and schedule an earlier personal review point instead of treating the last possible day as a target.
Before leaving, confirm the account's current state, platform access and any outstanding verification task. If the account is already missing from Tradovate, preserve the login and error details and ask support what happened. Buying another evaluation before checking may create an avoidable second payment.
This guide does not promise that logging in preserves the firm-level account or that a dormant account is always closed. It describes separate published risks so the trader can obtain an account-specific answer.
Billing continues on its own timetable
The billing guide updated 5 October says membership renews every 30 days until passing or cancellation. It cannot be paused; cancelling and restarting loses evaluation progress. A paid reset does not move the renewal date.
For an absence, write down the choices and their costs before acting. Keeping membership preserves the possibility of continuing an active evaluation but can produce another payment. Cancellation stops the intended future membership arrangement under its terms but sacrifices existing progress. An archived or failed account may require a reset or new purchase, depending on the firm's actual account status.
Those are different decisions. This article does not cancel an account, recommend a chargeback or assume the cheapest route is best for every trader. The useful comparison includes progress already made, the likely return date and the terms actually offered.
Return-to-trading checklist
Before submitting an order after a break, verify the account name and environment, current loss threshold, open positions and working orders, market-data access and the current contract month. Read any rule or platform notices issued while away.
If an order is rejected, record the message instead of repeatedly retrying. A permission problem, archived account and closed market require different fixes. Resume only after the account is shown as active and the issue is understood.
For a Funded Live invitation, finish the required documentation within the firm's stated window rather than assuming a paid evaluation membership extends the invitation.

Before paying
Select the exact plan, size, platform and risk options on the official site. Enter AUDIT before payment and compare the accepted reduction with the correct row. If the order differs, ask the firm to explain that configuration before buying. Keep the receipt and the rules issued for the account. A discounted fee does not change qualification or withdrawal conditions.
