Verified code: COMPARE gives 30% off eligible Traders Launch futures purchase fees. A Standard $100K account with the published 80% profit-share configuration calculates to $111.30 from $159. Before buying another, check the firm's limit of five active futures accounts per user and reconcile every existing account's status.

Official rules and price references checked: 10 October 2026. This guide turns the account limit into a practical purchase and status checklist. The maximum is a ceiling; it does not require a trader to buy or operate five accounts.
Count accounts using confirmed status
The official futures rules state that a user may have up to five active futures accounts. The page does not describe that allowance as five per size, five per platform or five separately within Standard and Legacy NYC.
Use a single inventory for your futures accounts. Keep the account ID, model, purchase date, present stage and displayed status in each row. Add the date on which the status was last confirmed. That prevents an old email or a familiar account name from being mistaken for the current state.
An account that is under review, transitioning stages or not visible in one platform may need clarification. Do not silently classify it as closed to create room for another purchase. The public page's short account-limit statement does not settle every administrative edge case.
Use a conservative capacity calculation
The basic calculation is five minus the number of accounts confirmed active. When a status is unresolved, show the uncertainty separately and wait for the firm to confirm the available capacity before relying on it.
| Illustrative inventory | Confirmed active | Unresolved status | Working interpretation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Three trading accounts; no pending changes | 3 | 0 | Two places below the published ceiling |
| Three trading accounts; one awaiting review | 3 | 1 | Capacity depends on how the reviewed account is counted |
| Five accounts shown active | 5 | 0 | No additional active-account capacity established |
In the middle example, the arithmetic range is one or two remaining places depending on the fourth account's treatment. It would be misleading to advertise two as definitely available. A cautious private worksheet can reserve the unresolved place until support answers.
This is a recordkeeping method, not an official promise about pausing, queuing or activating an excess purchase. Do not buy first on the assumption that the firm will automatically hold the sixth account or refund it.
Keep stage changes in one account history
A passed evaluation can produce a new stage or account reference. Record the link between the old identifier and the new one, including any official notice that the earlier account has closed. Avoid either counting a single transition twice indefinitely or dropping the earlier record before its status is established.
For example, if three confirmed active accounts are followed by one evaluation-to-funded transition, save the transition notice and reconcile the displayed total. The number of emails received is not a reliable account count. Neither is the number of rows visible in a single trading-platform dropdown.
Ask a precise support question when necessary: provide the affected account references and ask which are included in the five-active-account total. Keep the answer with the inventory. A statement about one particular transition should not be generalized to every future account change.
Budget actual purchase fees before filling the allowance
The official pricing page currently displays these Standard futures prices with an 80% profit share. Different profit-share options and Legacy NYC configurations have their own fees.
| Plan | Size | Regular price | Code | Discount | Savings | Final price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Futures, 80% share | $100,000 | $159.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $47.70 | $111.30 |
| Standard Futures, 80% share | $200,000 | $299.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $89.70 | $209.30 |
| Standard Futures, 80% share | $300,000 | $599.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $179.70 | $419.30 |
All amounts are USD one-time base purchase fees. Separate charges and options are excluded, and no second promotion is stacked. The nominal $100K–$300K labels describe simulated account size; they are not cash assets transferred to the buyer.
Three identical Standard $100K purchases would total $333.90 at the stated COMPARE price. Five would total $556.50. Moving from three to five therefore adds $222.60 of base fees. These are illustrative budget totals, not a recommendation to purchase the maximum or evidence that a particular user has sufficient capacity.
The terms describe a restrictive refund policy. Resolve counting or eligibility questions before placing an unnecessary order rather than treating an unused account as an easily reversible purchase.
Track risk and progress separately on each account
More accounts create more records to maintain. Record the applicable loss threshold, target progress, activity deadline and stage for every account. A total across the worksheet can summarize exposure, but it should not replace each account's own eligibility checks.
For an illustrative pair of accounts, one can have $250 of remaining loss room while another has $900. The combined $1,150 does not establish that the first account can withstand a $500 loss. Its own active threshold still needs to be respected; do not assume balances or risk allowances can be pooled.
The same applies to evaluation progress. Reaching a combined target across several accounts does not show that each has passed. Keep actual dashboard values and notices in the separate rows. For calendar requirements, use the dedicated Traders Launch evaluation deadline and activity guide.
The official rules also prohibit same-instrument, correlated-instrument and coordinated hedging. Account capacity does not create an exception. See the separate Traders Launch conduct guide before running strategies that interact across accounts.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions

The public rules state one per-user futures limit. They do not establish separate five-account allowances for each size, platform or account family.
The public limit statement does not settle every review or transition status. Confirm how the particular account is counted before relying on additional capacity.
At the published $159 regular 80%-share configuration, 30% off gives $111.30 each. Three identical base purchases total $333.90 before separate charges.
Do not assume pooling is permitted. Track and respect each account’s own active loss threshold and progress conditions.
