TradeDay Automation Permission Guide + Promo Code AUDIT

Quick answer

TradeDay’s automation policy does not give blanket permission to run any trading robot. It requires use of supported platforms, does not expose the Tradovate API for direct automated-system connections, and prohibits purchased third-party algorithms and bots. A strategy working technically on your computer does not establish that it fits the firm’s rules.

Verified code: AUDIT — 55% off the initial evaluation payment. The regular $131 Quick Pay Intraday $50K monthly fee calculates to $58.95 initially. Renewal conditions, software charges and resets are separate budget items.

Verified on 12 October 2026. Verified code: AUDIT.

Official sources checked: 6 October 2026. This article examines software origin and execution setup, rather than repeating the news-window guide.

Three questions before choosing software

The official automation policy names NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Jigsaw and Quantower as supported platforms. It says platform APIs are not made available and specifically excludes direct Tradovate API connections. It also says TradeDay does not evaluate third-party purchased systems.

The first question is who created and controls the strategy. The second is how orders reach the platform. The third is what the strategy actually does. An acceptable answer to one does not resolve the other two.

This is a practical preparation checklist, not a TradeDay approval form or a substitute for its terms.

Purchased bots are not the same as your own setup

A trader might buy a robot advertised as “prop-firm ready.” That marketing label does not change TradeDay’s prohibition. Nor does changing a parameter necessarily change the origin of a purchased system. Avoid paying for software on the assumption that a general prop-firm claim applies to this specific provider.

A self-developed system still needs a valid platform route and compliant behaviour. It is not automatically approved simply because the trader wrote it. If the planned arrangement is unclear, describe its actual components to official support before deploying it: signal origin, order route, account ownership and the type of automation involved.

Do not send passwords or API secrets in that explanation. The aim is to clarify the setup, not to give somebody unnecessary account access. Keep the written answer with the account agreement so that a later configuration change can be checked against the original description.

Connection diagrams prevent category mistakes

Draw the intended flow from signal generation to the final order. A box labelled “Tradovate” is not enough if an unsupported external connection sits in front of it. Likewise, a charting tool displaying prices does not prove that its automated order route is available under the account’s permissions.

A useful diagram marks which component calculates a signal, which component submits an order, where position size is checked and where the trader can disable new entries. This is especially valuable after updating software: the strategy name may be unchanged while its connection method has changed.

For a hypothetical example, a trader moves a system from an internal platform feature to a custom external API bridge. That should trigger a fresh compatibility review rather than be treated as a cosmetic upgrade. The trading logic alone is not the entire setup.

Test operational failures in practice

Before putting a paid evaluation at risk, use an appropriate practice environment to inspect rejected orders, partial fills, lost connections, duplicated submissions and restart behaviour. The purpose is to find implementation errors, not to claim that a practice result predicts profitability.

Create a simple incident log with expected action, observed action and unresolved issue. If an order is rejected, check whether the system retries blindly. If the process restarts, check whether it reads existing positions before creating new ones. If a position partially fills, check whether protection follows the actual filled quantity.

These are general engineering checks rather than firm-specific assurances. TradeDay’s risk limits continue to apply even when software behaves unexpectedly. A technical problem is not evidence that the firm will reverse a loss or restore an account.

Build account rules into the review

The official TradeDay product page distinguishes Quick Pay and Fast Pass configurations. The PFA review explains why EOD evaluation drawdown and funded drawdown should not be assumed identical. An automated strategy must use the actual account’s current constraints.

A schedule filter also needs the relevant market and news rules. The separate funded exchange price-limit checklist addresses another operational boundary. Do not rely only on a generic “market open” flag if a program has additional restrictions.

Regular fees and the AUDIT calculation

The official selector exposes these USD regular reference fees. The table applies the active 55% offer to the initial evaluation charge, without stacking a displayed public sale.

PlanSizeRegular monthly feeCodeDiscountInitial savingsInitial calculated fee
Quick Pay Intraday$25,000$100.00AUDIT55%$55.00$45.00
Quick Pay Intraday$50,000$131.00AUDIT55%$72.05$58.95
Quick Pay EOD$50,000$175.00AUDIT55%$96.25$78.75

Final initial fee equals regular fee multiplied by 0.45. The public site may display a separate promotion; this table is not a claim that AUDIT always produces the lowest possible price. Software licences, VPS costs, market data, resets and later subscription payments are not included.

Apply the code after the setup review

  1. Select the exact evaluation and drawdown configuration.
  2. Establish whether the intended strategy and connection fit the current automation policy.
  3. Enter AUDIT before the first payment.
  4. Review the initial charge separately from renewals and optional services.
  5. Save the account terms and maintain a change log for the trading setup.

The TradeDay coupon page records the offer. Prop Firm Audit may receive affiliate commission. Evaluation fees can be lost; software permission and a purchase discount do not guarantee passing, a funded account or a payout.
